Today is my day of name! Yaaaay!
All the Jans out there, have fun today!
Do you know what Jan means? Apparently it's a Hebrew name and means "God is merciful." or "Sent by God" or "God's merciful gift".
That's right! I'm such a blessing to the world.
In Czech Republic people don't call Jans by that name too often, it's considered a bit archaic and formal. Most people would use another form of the name - Honza (yeah, related to German "Hans"). I dislike that though.
If I could choose another name, I'd pick "Václav". It's old-slavic and means "more famous".

I've been thinking of doing a contest-like thing. There are 492 people watching me. Do you think there'd be at least 20 participants?
You might be wondering - "What contest, what are you babbling about, you fool?!"
I'd set a simple task that everyone can do, collect some entries and then pick a few random winners. Then I'd draw something they ask for. Something quick and simple.
See? Pretty lightweight. Most probably awesome too.
