Gestikapoinann - lusitanian spearmen (Iberian) unit for Europa Barbarorum II. I had to wait for the preview on EB II forums so I uploaded it now.

Well, my guess would be to stack several layers of felt, or similar material, and sew through them with strong thread, in that diamond pattern. I'm sure there are tutorials online.

So it seems. i might end up making a disc breastplate instead, to make it distinctly non-medieval.

Btw, just want to mention that having anything to do with EB automatically qualifies you as awesome.
