An inside illustration for "The Blessed and the Damned" book by Paradigm Concepts (it's a player's handbook for the Witchhunter RPG).
The book will be available at the end of summer.

A witchhunter using the Old Style fighting a man possesed by a rat demon (I swear it was in the brief like that! :D) who uses the Path to Victory style.

That's a dangerous position for the buckler having man to be in. He's leading the point of his opponent inward, the fool could ride that parry right into the chest.

Love the motion in the cloak there! The threads coming loose really add to its texture :)

When I saw the preview image I loved it. When I saw the face of the left fighter I lost the affection. When I read the commentary I understood. Still the face seems a bit odd to me, too much like looking into our direction (yep, I see the sword there).

Haha, these are all awesome.
Do you find it easier to do digital stuff in black and white, as well?
I do, at least, lol. I find it easier, 'cept I never do anything in black and white anyways. XD

What program did you use if any at all?... if you don't mind me asking. :3

Very nice, though! :+fav:

Yeah, black and white digital is quite a good technique for me. Quick, easy to repaint, get the values right etc.
On the other hand, composition and values really have to work since i can't help it with any color tricks.

I use a variety of programs, but I think these were done in PS.

I like the addition of the small hand buckler. The poses are really action-oriented too, which is great. :)
